Abdul Wahid joined IASB as a partner in 1993 subsequently setting up and leading IASB’s operations in Johor Bahru. Abdul Wahid previously worked with Jabatan Kerja Raya, where he garnered significant design experience and effective management skills. He also previously taught architecture in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), reflecting his vast knowledge in both education and practice.
He oversaw the design and construction of the iconic Menara Tabung Haji in Johor Bahru and Bangunan Dato’ Abdul Rahman Andak (BDARA), one of the State Department Complexes in Kota Iskandar. His approach in design accumulating strong interpretive elements associate to historical and identity of architecture in Malaysia.
